Privacy policy
This policy covers two things: the enquiry form on voice-ai.trigunai.com, and the phone calls and WhatsApp messages we handle for customers of the Voice AI service. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the DPDP Rules, 2025, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Most duties under the DPDP Rules apply from 13 May 2027; we follow them now.
Who we are
TrigunAI Innovations Private Limited, Patna, Bihar ("TrigunAI", "we").
Part 1: enquiries from this website
For enquiries, TrigunAI decides why and how the data is used, so we are the Data Fiduciary.
| Data | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name, mobile, email (optional) | To call you with the demo and send the proposal |
| Organisation name, type, district, city or area | To set up a demo with your details |
| Jobs you want handled, phone or WhatsApp, calls per day, caller languages, your current phone setup, timeline, language for our call, how you heard of us, your message | To plan the pilot, check what will work and prepare a price |
| Optional WhatsApp updates choice | To send product updates only if you ticked the separate box |
| Consent record (notice version, language, time) | To show what you agreed to and when |
We share enquiry data only with service providers who help us respond: our cloud host Microsoft Azure, which runs this website (its servers may be outside India), and WhatsApp Business by Meta for messages. We never sell it. If you do not become a customer, we delete it within 12 months. Product updates on WhatsApp are optional and separate; reply STOP to end them.
Part 2: calls and messages we handle for our customers
- Roles. The coaching institute, school, clinic or shop that uses the service decides why its calls and messages are handled, so it is the Data Fiduciary. TrigunAI handles them only on its behalf and on its written instructions, as its Data Processor, under a written agreement (DPDP Act, section 8).
- What we handle. Caller phone numbers, call audio, transcripts, WhatsApp messages, and the details callers give (for example name, class, preferred visit or appointment time, order number). We handle only what the customer's chosen jobs need.
- AI disclosure. Every call and chat starts by saying it is the business's automated AI assistant and that the call is recorded. Callers can ask for a person at any time. The assistant never pretends to be human.
- Where it is stored. Call recordings, transcripts and call logs are stored on servers in India.
- Retention (defaults). Call recordings are deleted after 30 days, transcripts after 90 days, and call logs (number, time, duration, outcome) after 1 year. The customer may choose shorter periods, or longer where a law requires. When the service ends we delete or return the customer's data, except logs we must keep by law.
- No training without permission. We do not use customers' calls or messages to train or improve our AI models without that customer's separate written permission. We never use one customer's data to train a model for another customer.
- No voice cloning. We use licensed or synthetic voices. We copy a real person's voice only with that person's written consent, only for that customer, and the AI disclosure still plays.
- Payments. The assistant only sends the customer's own payment link. It never asks for or stores an OTP, UPI PIN, card number or CVV.
- Clinics. The assistant handles appointments only. It does not give medical advice, and we ask patients not to share medical details with it.
- Children. Many coaching and school students are under 18. Messages about a student go to the parent's or guardian's number. The institute is responsible for obtaining the parent's consent. No marketing is sent to children.
- Voice is not used to identify people. We do not create voiceprints or use voice to verify identity.
Service providers we use for customers' calls and messages
| Category | What they do | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Licensed telecom operator or cloud-telephony provider (named in each customer's agreement) | Connect phone calls and provide phone numbers | India |
| Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform) | Deliver WhatsApp messages | Meta's own systems, which may be outside India, under Meta's terms |
| Cloud data centre in India (named in each customer's agreement) | Run our speech recognition, voice and language models, and store recordings, transcripts and logs | India |
If we add a provider, for example a third-party speech or language service, we name it and its location in the customer's agreement before using it.
If you called or messaged a business that uses our service and have a question or request about your data, contact that business first. You may also write to us; we will pass it on and help them respond.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct or update it, delete it, withdraw consent or nominate someone to act for you. For enquiries, quote your mobile number or enquiry number (VOI-xxxx). Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: one email or WhatsApp message is enough.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and is kept in access-controlled systems. Staff access to recordings and transcripts is limited to setting up and fixing the service on the customer's instruction, and is logged. If a breach affects you, we will inform our customer without delay, and you and the authorities as the law requires.
Contact and grievances
Grievance contact: Deepak, Founder, TrigunAI Innovations Private Limited, Patna, Bihar. Email deepak@trigunai.com or WhatsApp +91 91352 55107. We aim to reply within 15 days and always within 90 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the version date above.
